Seeing remote Mongolia in monochrome brings out the dramatic texture of the wilderness of this vast and remote landscape. I followed and photographed some of the historical routes of the great Genghis Khan across Mongolia, from the Gobi to the Mongolian-Manchurian grassland, braving through the summer storms.
