For most people, it is difficult to maintain a routine for photography after you have gone through a lengthy and enthusiastic photography workshop. Unless you are a full-time photographer, you won’t be holding onto your camera daily. Then again, to expand your creative vision and improve your photography skills, you need to keep shooting.
Practice makes perfect.
Also, it is important to assess your photos. You will notice something that you want to improve. It could inspire you to go out there, to shoot and to better your shot from the previous ones.
Share your images on social media and photography-related sites for critiques and feedback. These will also help a lot for you to improve your photography.
Post-processing skills are equally important to make your images pop. Therefore learning post-editing skills such as Lightroom and Photoshop can be an advantage for the serious photographer.
Photography workshops are meant for you to learn techniques and acquire tips, all to better your photography. Sign up for the next workshop only if it could bring your photography to another level.
Keep shooting, keep creating.
