Chinatown in Singapore is always bustling with people and activities. This is one of the best places to learn travel and street photography. You will venture along main streets and back lanes, working with different camera settings and lights to capture people, their activities and the unique features of the place. Chinatown is surrounded by colourful post-war buildings built in the early 1900s. These shophouses are Singapore's heritage. Walking on its five footway, which is a pedestrian walkway, allows you to photograph its distinctive decorative features and finishes. Continue your street photography towards the central part of Chinatown to capture the hustle and bustle of the area. Right next to the temple is the busy wet market. There are chances that you might capture some images of the morning rush. In the corner, senior citizens can be seen congregating for a leisure match of Chinese chess. Photography will be endless until the workshop ends at around lunchtime in the heart of Chinatown.

Testimonial
Highly recommend Caroline's photography walking class. While the primary purpose is to improve your camera skills and on that front it is an extremely worthwhile class, it is also a great walking tour of, in our case, the Chinatown area of Singapore, and actually the more 'off the track' parts of Chinatown. Very interesting, hugely informing, great learning, would recommend to anyone who has even a passing interest in photography. ~~~~~ JohnnyBriggs
