What you need is to build a strong foundation in photography to begin your journey to create great photos. 

This workshop is for beginners and is focused on getting you going with your photography journey.

It is recommended to attend the evening workshop from 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm, which includes learning basic low-light and night photography techniques. You will work with natural light from sunset until night. This will help you understand how light works in photography, which is one of the important components of photography. Take note that a tripod is required for the evening workshop. 

This workshop keeps you engaged with many hands-on practices on location. Tips and techniques are offered in bite-sized, making them easy to understand and remember.

What Is Covered In This Workshop​

  1. Explore camera components and functions

  2. Learn about aperture, shutter speed, ISO, white balance, exposure, metering

  3. Identify the available shooting modes including aperture and shutter priority

  4. Know the files to shoot in (JPG, RAW)

  5. Get a grip on composition and lighting to make a  good picture

By The End Of The Workshop

  1. You will understand the functions of your camera

  2. You will shoot beyond Auto and scene modes

  3. You will know how to adjust the focal points

  4. You will be able to compose your shots

  5. Ultimately, you will take control of your camera

What Do You Need For The Workshop

  1. Your camera (DSLR, mirrorless or any digital camera)

  2. Wide-angle lens with hood. If you have any other lenses that you want to try out, please feel free to bring them.

  3. Few fully charged battery

  4. Memory cards

  5. Sunscreen

  6. Drinking water

  7. Wear comfortable clothing.  

  8. Wear comfortable walking shoes or sandals

  9. Tripod (required for evening workshop) 

  10. Remote trigger or download your camera app to your smartphone to use as a trigger (required for the evening workshop)
